About: Rookies is an opportunity for students to get involved in the RAG excitement on a short-term basis by giving you a taste of the action before you decide on making a long-term commitment.

Rookies will be exposed to:

· Event management through the running and organising of events
· Involvement in present major RAG projects
· Team-work through their mini projects
· Corporate relations and social responsibility

The difference between Rookies and any other RAG project is that the main intention is not to raise money for SHAWCO but to develop students who want to be involved in future RAG projects

Although Rookies has a serious objective the project aims at providing these members with a year of excitement and fun through partying and getting involved!
