About: The world’s biggest reality show is back for the summer: Idols has returned for another round of the search for South Africa’s newest singing sensation.

But this season there’s a twist: for the first time ever, contestants have been allowed to audition with instruments. The auditions have already seen the wannabe stars rocking out on their guitars, impressing with their classical violins and ripping a few good, old fashioned accordion solos, so you can be sure there’s a lot more musical carnage in store for the main show.
