“Though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again; but the wicked are brought down by calamity,” Proverbs 24:16.

We all fall sometimes. We all make mistakes. It doesn’t matter how smart we may be; it doesn’t matter what qualifications we have: we all fall short of righteousness.

But it doesn’t matter so much that we fall; it matters that we GET UP. Anyone can fall, but it takes someone really rooted in God to get up. It takes someone of real character to rise again and do better.
God calls on all of us today to come to Him that He might cleanse us and make us brand new. God calls us to run towards Him not from Him.
While people run out of forgiveness, God doesn’t. Though we’ve fallen, though we’re ashamed... God gives us brand new beginning. We all fall, but we can get up through Christ who strengthens us .

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation,” 2 Corinthians 5:17.
