The 100 Club in London attained the status of “legendary” in modern British music, having played host to some of the most influential artists on the planet since 24 October 1942. Converse joined forces with The 100 Club in 2011, when it was threatened with closure due to rent increases and local taxes. Its future now secured, it continues to host some of the most interesting acts on the music scene, from big names to obscure up-and-comings, and now it will host SA’s finest unsigned talent. Calling all music makers…Are you looking for that once-in-a-lifetime chance to Get Out Of The Garage and step onto the stage at The 100 Club? This is it!
Converse wants YOUR unsigned talent to get out of the garage and head to the UK to play a gig at this epic venue later this year. Whether you are a punk rocker, electro fundi, kickass proponent of kwaito, or a hip hop playa, Converse wants to hear you!

www.facebook.com/converse. The judges (Zulu Boy, Jon Savage and Garick Williams) will then narrow down the entries to SA's top 10. Converse will then showcase these acts on Facebook, where South Africa decides who is lucky enough to be sent to London. One lucky fan will have the chance to join their favourite band VIP style for the gig.
