The Undefind

Band Description	So who exactly are The Undefind? A group of young people walk into the room. Each has their own unique style, own opinion and own tastes. But they all have one major thing in common... a passion and love for making music. Gareth James (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Marcel Smit (lead guitar), Jeanre' Leo (drums), Christopher Wilson (bass) and Kendal Spinola (lead vocals and backing) are The Undefind. Relatively new on the scene, The Undefind have already started making a few waves in this tough to break industry. Though as yet unsigned, they have received some airplay and tv coverage on Ktv (Kids Television), on West Coast Radio and MFM (Stellenbosch Radio) and have done interviews on KFM as well MFM and Weat Coast Radio. The Undefind has also shared stages with some SA’s top bands namely Spoon Feedas, Prime Circle, Cutting Jade (Jozi), Lonehill Estate (Jozi) and many more, they also shared a stage with an International band called “The Last Supper” from Canada . It is no doubt only a matter of time before someone scoops them up. So what exactly have they got that is going to help them make it to the top? Well, amongst other things, a style of music that fits well with their name. Though they all agree that most of their sound can be classed as rock, each of the members had his own definition of what that is and one would find it hard to predict what they will come up with next. Where many young bands fail by trapping themselves into one type of genre and appealing to only a small percentage of the public, The Undefind seem set to reach a wider audience. Lead singer, Gareth James has been singing for 11 years, previously performing with Kryptonite, Twin Suns and White Rabbit. While, female vocalist Kendal Spinola, who has been singing since the age of 11, has performed with bands like Exit and Stage 1 and achieved numerous awards eg. SA's top 100 in The South African idols in 2003 and Cape Town's Top 50 in 2007, Marcel Smit comes from a long line of guitarists and has a few awards under his belt already including, Levi’s Band Challenge in 2006 and, the Solo section in 2007. Bassist Chris Wilson rocked audiences with a band named Oordosis at the Robertson Rock Festival 2005 and drummer Jay Leo, has been playing for 7 years and played in various bands in high school. The band is curently working on big things, one being their debut album. So die nuus is nog nie uit nie maar kom ek deel met julle voor enige ander weet. Sewende Sintuig het opgetree vir Innovation Records vir n kontrak wat enige groep voor droom en hoop. Die aand was vol vibes en die musiek het gevloei soos water deur jou ore.. Die goeie nuus van die aand.. Ons is ge eerd om te se dat ons toe gesign is deur Innovation Records!!!!
