DJ Eazy, a seasoned veteran of the South African scene, has been dj’ing since 1993. He was soon snapped up as a resident DJ for JC’s Place and has played as guest dj at countless other clubs. His forte includes Hip Hop, R&B, Drum and Bass, and Jungle, but his skills translate to many other styles. He has worked on radio with CCFM, and now co-hosts a show on UCT Radio. He co-founded the Faculty of Hiphop, with works in schools and communities providing life skills programmes and workshops. He has also worked in television on the Hip Hop Show on MK89 and now does the research for the show Woelag on the same channel. His club experience is varied and extensive. He has played all over South Africa and moved crowds in Durban, Johannesburg, Swaziland, Botswana and in Germany. His collaborations with both South African and international artists include Brasse Vannie Kaap, Matt Allison supporting the Jars of Clay Tour, Verbs, Spin The Flava, and Brown. He has performed at music festivals, all the major car shows and various Hip Hop events.
