  • So die nuus is nog nie uit nie maar kom ek deel met julle voor enige ander weet. Sewende Sintuig het opgetree vir Innovation Records vir n kontrak wat enige groep voor droom en hoop. Die aand was vol vibes en die musiek het gevloei soos water deur jou ore.. Die goeie nuus van die aand.. Ons is ge eerd om te se dat ons toe gesign is deur Innovation Records!!!!

    This awesome but illusive vocalist, pops up in the South African music scene whenever his unpredictable lust for performing live grabs hold of him. Parri sang for Billygoat between 1996 and 2001. He also performed with the likes of Delta Blue, Akkedis and Luna. In 2002 he co-founded SAM (Surface to Air Music), with Schalk Van der Merwe and created an Afrikaans rock cabaret and soundtrack called ‘Bring vir Elvis Terug’. Exciting news is that Parri has formed a new band THE GODS with Schalk van der Merwe (Bed on Bricks), Francious Kruger (Springbok Nude Girls) and Albert Frost (Blues Broers, New Porn) Watch this space!

Before that he was in love with guitar playing for 8 years, and before that it was the piano for 6 years. He has played with numerous groups and artists over a ten year career, including Billygoat, Delta Blue, Valiant Swart, Piet Botha and Jack Hammer, Theuns Jordaan, Alta Joubert, Venessa Nolan, Albert Frost, Eden Brent from Mississppi, TheUppity Blues Women from Chicago, The Soundflowers, Johan Erasmus, SAM, Alexa Strachan, The Boulevard Blues Band, The Wild Possums and many more. According to him, a good love for the blues and the ability to play funk like a black man will get you into heaven.
